                                        Artist Statement
My creative output as artist and the creative process are both amazing and puzzling to me. I do own the pleasure of being the one who opens up to the creative energies and births these paintings and assorted projects, but their ultimate gestures or meanings are not simply what this artist is attempting to convey. Quite the contrary! The intuitive process by which I attempt to operate is one of allowing idea to manifest in real time. It is being open to a new direction at a moment's notice and then finally it is about the education of this artist. Each work is an art class where I am educated. In this, the boiler room of invention, the questions of "I wonder what would happen if" and "What might it be like if I do that" are allowed to arise and are given a voice.

My work is an attempt to bring to the viewer a small peek through the keyhole of the vast changes in reality I have seen. These boil down to a few ideas but dimension, perception and perspective are the main ones. I so clearly SEE a world that is very dramatically different and very new from the one I had known since the accident that forever changed me or maybe even reinvented me. My work is a journal of discovery and the discovery of creation. It explores boundaries and has become my life's passion. My work is in the space between things.
